Live love laugh

I have been a lover of mixed media art for a number of years.  Mixed media is basically where you use a bunch of different mediums to create one piece, so a piece that includes paint and something else such as wooden embellishments or flowers would count.

It took me a while, but a just over a year ago I got the confidence together to give doing a mixed media canvas a go myself.  I haven't looked back since.

Live Love Laugh is my most recent canvas

This piece features a mixture of pearls, flowers,lace and even chains. 

Nothing is out of bounds with mixed media.

I recently got into crackle and I am a big time lover of wooden flourishes and embellishments, so you will probably see more of both soon.
